Breakfast. For the throng of office warriors who face the daily grind week in week out, breakfast is usually a quick taste of your partner’s lips or a scalding cup of coffee before you rush out the door. It is a myth. Something good and wonderful, like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow or a pink unicorn in a field of four-leaf clovers. But there is still a world where breakfast rules supreme, where it suddenly becomes important beyond measure, and that my friends, is the world of hotels and vacations.

As you globe trot your way across the world there’s nothing quite like waking up to a legendary breakfast in a 5 star hotel and satiating your appetite with a local speciality or just a nice steaming plate of scrambled eggs. So nothing gets us more riled up than a bad breakfast.

We recently went to one of our favorite hotels (we won’t name it because honestly, we love this hotel and their service is always spot on except for this one time) and were quite surprised to find out that its Michelin star chef was incapable of making a good plate of scrambled eggs. Of course, that was probably the trainees job, but it was still quite shocking to find a sad excuse for a botched omelette staring at us, when all we wanted was a simple dish taught in cooking 101. Anyways we’re done ranting, but it gave us an idea.

If a breakfast really impressed (or depressed) you, why not take a picture and post it on the blog! Snap some pics of exotic morning feeds and share them with us, especially if you catch a glimpse of the infamous scrambled omelette!
